I am very excited to announce that I am now represented by Tim Mitchell. I am honored and proud to be a part of his roster of such extraordinary talent and to partner with someone who has such a strong vision and a true passion for photography.
To top off the good news, my good friend Alison McCreery is joining the agency to represent Tim Mitchell on the West Coast. 2014 is off to a great start!

These images are from behind the scenes in Tahoe for a KQED TV produced documentary called: Lake Tahoe: Can We Save It? I was so excited to shoot for KQED, because it is my all time favourite radio station that I can listen to all day long, and Tahoe is such an incredibly beautiful place to be shooting. KQED is PBS member television station based in San Francisco, CA.

I just got back from attending another amazing FotoWorks event in New York with my friend Joson.
After 32 incredible meetings with art directors, art buyers, editors and a lot of work and fun, we closed the last evening with some jumping pictures, of course. If you ever need to add some spice to an image; just make your subjects jump.

In 2008, a long lost cousin from Norway moved to San Francisco and I met my two nieces, Eva and Inès, for the first time. When these two amazing girls came into my my life, it was as if we were re-living a magical and mysterious story from another time together. It felt as if our souls had been searching for each other, and now we had so much fun to catch up with!
Eva & Inès never cease to inspire me, they make magic happen, I just have to be ready with my camera.

Kaya: My new adventure.
My baby girl Kaya was born on 7th April 2013. Photographing her wide innocent eyes takes me back to the days I was learning photography, when it was all a big, magic adventure. My eyes were filled with the same sense of awe and excitement as her baby eyes are now.
Kaya was born shortly before the LA FotoWorks. At the young age of ten days old, she embarked on her first road trip outside of San Francisco, traveling with me down to Los Angeles on I-5. She slept peacefully the whole way, without crying. I’m so excited my best friend has finally arrived, I feel like I waited my whole life for her, from before I was born, and now we’re not going to miss a beat together. She is my fairy tale come true.
For my work, it was an amazing opportunity to make personal relationships with the very best of LA creatives. FotoWorks sets a high standard to their events with top notch creatives in a beautiful location. Making personal connections is invaluable and the highlight of the event for me was to see how excited these creatives are and and to have conversations with people who are as passionate about their work as I am about mine.
I look forward to sharing more journeys like this with Kaya.

Had a fun assignment for The Times of London to work with the technology correspondent, Murad Ahmed, on a story that took us to Facebook, Google, Evernote and Sequoia Capital.
Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote
Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote, is such a nice gentleman and it shows in the way he wants to provide only the best for his workers and company.
Hugo Barra, VP of Android at Google
It was fun talking with Hugo Barra during the shoot. Turns out he used to live two floors below me in the same apartment building in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

One of my favourite things is to make people jump in pictures. So an assignment from Reebok featuring/highlighting the sole of the their new line of kid’s shoes was perfect for me. It was so fun to shoot active kids that have boundless energy.

It’s an honor and a privilege to have two of my images selected for the APA LA “Off the Clock” competition. APA puts on fantastic shows and I’m always in good company.
Woke up to great news today. Chosen as One Eyeland’s “Photographer of the Week” after having an image selected as “The Picture of the Day.” One Eyeland is one of my favorite photography portals. The work is consistently high caliber and I’m honored to be in such good company.
